Why are there no good windows today?

If the whole day is rainy, very windy, or outside your walking hours, Walk When will say so. Try another day with the day selector, or adjust your settings, such as walking hours, minimum score, or weather priority.

How are scores calculated?

Every hour is scored from 0 to 100 on feels-like temperature, rain chance, and wind, then weighted by the priority you pick. Open "How scores are computed" inside the app's Settings for the full breakdown.

The widget is not updating.

Widgets refresh on a schedule set by iOS. Open the app once to refresh the latest forecast, and make sure Location access is allowed if you use your current location.

Can I use Fahrenheit and miles?

Yes. Go to Settings and switch Units to °F / mi. You can also set a 12-hour or 24-hour clock.

Where does the weather come from?

Forecasts come from Open-Meteo, a free weather service. Walk When has no servers of its own and stores your settings only on your device.
